Is this a race?

No. It’s a road rally and social adventure. There is no prize for reaching Turin first.

Do I need a Mini?

No. Minis are encouraged because of the theme, but all suitable road-legal cars are welcome.

What is the car rule?

The working rule is that the car should be worth £1,000 or less, or be at least 20 years old.

When is it happening?

Our provisional dates are 20–29 June 2027.

Where are we going?

From the UK to Turin and back, with several overnight stops in Europe.

Why Turin?

Turin was the principal setting for the original 1969 film The Italian Job.

Will we visit Italian Job filming locations?

That’s certainly the intention. Details will be added once the Turin programme is finalised.

Do I arrange my own hotels?

Yes. We will recommend accommodation at each stop, but you make and pay for your own booking.

How much is registration?

The current plan is £50 per person registration plus a minimum £250 charity donation per person to one of the three chosen charities. Participants will also cover their own car, hotels, fuel, crossings, food and drink.
