The Adventure
Following the success of Monte Carlo or Bust, we’re doing it all again — only this time we’re heading for Italy.
The Italian Job 2027 will be an approximately ten-day road rally from the UK to Turin and back, inspired by the cars, locations and spirit of the classic 1969 film.
We expect to leave on 20 June 2027, making our way through Europe before spending 24–25 June around Turin.
This is not a race
There are no prizes for arriving first. The idea is to enjoy the journey, travel as a group where practical and make sure everybody reaches the destination.
Some cars will be quick. Some will be slow. Some may require encouragement. That’s part of the fun.
Turin
Turin isn’t simply the destination. It is one of the stars of The Italian Job. We intend to spend enough time there to explore some of the locations connected with the film, enjoy the city and experience the Festa di San Giovanni celebrations.
